Najwa Karam (born February 26, 1966 in Zahle, Lebanon). She is the youngest amongst her 4 siblings, Salwa the eldest and her only sister, and three brothers Tony, Jean and Nicolas. Najwa studied in Zahle and graduated from High School (Lebanese Baccalaureate in Philosophy), and became a teacher for two years. Her musical talents were apparent from a young age where she used to sing at some school parties with her friends and joined the chorus of Saydet Najat Cathedral since she was 11 years old.
